Emily Skye Squatting With Baby


Online trainer and Reebok ambassador Emily Skye has had an exciting year so far. She recently gave birth to her first child, a beautiful little girl named Mia. Emily was brutally honest throughout her entire pregnancy about pretty much everything. Due to some back pain, Emily wasn’t able to work out for part of her pregnancy, but she was totally OK with that, because she knew it was better for her baby in the long run.

Since giving birth, Emily has been slowly getting back into the swing of things. “Since my abs have already gone back together I’ll be able to start on my FIT Program when my Doc gives me the all clear!” she wrote in her last Instagram post. “I’m so excited to get fit and strong again.”

She did her first squats since giving birth, but instead of using a boring ol’ barbell, she brought her new daughter into the mix. “Doing some slow, controlled squats with little Mia – she’s a lot cuter & cuddlier than a kettlebell haha! 😝,” she said. We couldn’t agree more!

Emily is continuing to be raw and real about her postpregnancy body, and we love that she’s showing her bare stomach for everyone to see. Your body changes after giving birth, and there’s nothing wrong with that. As Emily says, it’s only a matter of time before you’re back to your regular fitness routine. We can’t wait to see what other kind of cute workouts Emily comes up with — especially ones that feature Mia!
